5:20 ? 7:20 PM?Northeastern University Social Entrepreneurship with Dr. Tita and Rob Schultz

Join Dr. Bill Tita Venture?Caf??regular Rob Schultz this week and hear about their new initiative at Northeastern. Dr. Tita?is a Lecturer within the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group at Northeastern University and . He has been recognized by the International Development Agencies, notably the World Bank, as a pioneer and expert in distance learning as well as in keeping developing countries within reach of the emerging information society and networked economy.

Dr. Tita and Rob Schultz have partnered to create a social enterprise learning lab environment for the Northeastern University course ?Social Entrepreneurship.? Students will be introduced to the Venture Caf?, hear social entrepreneurs Kathy Sorabella and Fritz-Socra Leherisson speak about their inspirational ventures, and build relationships with the Venture Caf??community.

6:00 ? 7:00 PM?Accelerate your Business: Intermediate Funding Options for Startups

Taking your business to the next level requires?capital. In this session,?experts will discuss different forms of capital you can use to accelerate your business, includingbank debt, working capital lines, crowdfunding, angel funding and venture capital financing. There will also be discussion on which source of funding is best suited for particular types of businesses. This is an intermediate level session?and should be attended by those individuals who are involved in a business that is currently considering its capital needs. Please submit your questions here.
